The Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele (BSA), has commended Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, representative, Ikorodu Federal Constituency, for the swift completion of the E-Learning Centre at Oriokuta Community in Imota.

‎The E-Learning Centre was facilitated by Rep. Jimi Benson, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Defence. The project further underscores his strong commitment to advancing education and enhancing digital literacy across Imota LCDA and the entire Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

‎Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele expressed profound appreciation to the federal lawmaker for his tireless efforts and unwavering dedication to educational development at the grassroots. He described the E-Learning Centre as another landmark intervention among several projects that he has facilitated, which have significantly contributed to the growth and development of various communities within Imota LCDA.

‎ “Rep. Babajimi Benson’s contributions have been instrumental in initiating numerous developmental projects within our LCDA. His continued support has greatly enhanced our capacity to drive positive and sustainable change,” the chairman stated.

‎Also speaking, the Head of Department, Education, Miss A.O. Olufowobi, commended Rep. Babajimi Benson for his consistent support towards the digital empowerment of youths in Imota LCDA. She expressed appreciation for bringing the dividends of democracy to the Oriokuta Community and Imota LCDA at large.

‎The E-Learning Centre, upon full completion, will be equipped with modern furniture and state-of-the-art digital learning facilities. The centre is designed to accommodate up to 300 students and it is expected to promote sustainable educational development, as well as improve access to digital learning at the grassroots level across Imota LCDA.

‎Recall that Rep.  Benson in 2025 commissioned and handed over a fully equipped e-learning/digital centre that can accommodate 300 students at Ikorodu Town Hall to the Ikorodu Division Resource Centre (IDRDG).  The centre is complementing the existing Digital/CBT Centre established by the IDRDG in providing CBT facilities for hundreds of Ikorodu students during JAMB/UMTE and NECO/ GCE examinations.
